Download the extension
Click the download button on this page and save the TubeLingo extension package.
Follow the steps below to install it. It takes about 2 minutes.
If you have already downloaded the file, you can start from step 2.
Click the download button on this page and save the TubeLingo extension package.
Extract the zip file to an easy-to-find location, such as your desktop or downloads folder.
Enter the following address in your browser to open the extensions management page.
On the extensions page, enable Developer mode in the top right corner.
Click “Load unpacked” and choose the folder you just extracted.
Open a video with subtitles and make sure TubeLingo appears in your browser extensions.
Your browser loads the extension from a folder, so you need to extract the zip file before selecting it.
We recommend the latest version of Google Chrome. Some Chromium-based browsers may also work with the same steps.
Once installed, TubeLingo will appear in your browser’s extensions list. Open a YouTube video to start using it.
Make sure Developer mode is turned on and that you selected the extracted folder. If it still fails, download the package again and retry.
Once installed, open any YouTube video to use bilingual subtitles, hover lookup, and sentence replay.
